Please can someone clarify what is the procedure for appealing against an MSA disqualification from a heat or race for ‘Non compliance of an engine’, if I were to disagree with the accuracy of measurement taken or how the measurement has been taken by the scrutineer?
From what I understand from the blue book, an appeal must be made within 30 mins along with a payment of £ 410…. They will take a cheque made out to the Motor Sports Association (which is good of them).
My questions are …
Is my understanding above correct?
What happens next ? Who decides the outcome, checks the measurements and where is this done. How long does this normally take? Has anyone ever gone through this before?
