..... and while you are at it, NJB, can you also explain how attaching a stiff bar to a fairly stiff chassis...... but the other end to an INCREDIBLY FLOPPY SEAT..... can affect the stiffness of the chassis?

I don't doubt that your drivers confirm it FEELS faster/slower but they also (probably) report that different axles make HUGE differences when Liam's work seems to show that it may not be true.

Drivers are funny things who are HUGELY affected by expectation.

The real test would be to make repeated specific changes to an axle but NOT tell the driver what you'd done..... let's see if they can describe what you changed and how.....!
