Danlee.

SuperCadet had a tiny target market, so was always going to be hard as it only appeals to a very small amount of people for a very short amount of time.

KF3 is a economic reason. and its simply not as good as what JICA was.

Since November (8 weeks) there have been around 60 engines sold.
We had a grid of 10 at pfi.
we have a grid of 6 at Kimbolton
and on the same weekend there are 8 at Womwell.

There are also another 2/3 testing the motor at pfi this weekend and ofcors there are 9 out of the 10 who raced at pfi, who have school/work commitments so can't race this weekend.

The motor really is fun to drive. Its unsealed so you can work on it and check it yourself. Everyone who has driven it is buying one.

Im selling all my rotax stuff and going for this as its just about the driving experience as much as it the numbers racing.

The grids we are getting are full of good quality drivers which is good.

Basically if everyone had your attitude of wait and see nothing would ever happen. Lucky there are some enough of us willing to take the 'risk' for you.

I was going to give up on karting completely until this motor came along.
A rotax is good in the same way a honda cadet is good. Its reliable you get a warranty etc.

But this is a hobby not a commuter car. your weekend fun car of choice would not be a mondeo TDCI 2.0 or a kia Cee'd with a 7 year warranty....it would be something exciting, something you actually enjoy just driving.

This is not about moving away for a change. it was more a case of staying in MSA karting for most.

In 1 years time there will be a lot of jnr tkm's moving up to snr. They will look at the choices.....I think i know what they will pick.
Same as the Jnr Rotax people. And then you have some of the Snr rotax grid and KGP driver (some have already come across)

So this isn't really like Super Cadet or KF3 as the taget market is huge....you may even see some old names from back in the FA/ICA days coming back who left when it went KF.
