Hi all,

Had a complete nightmare last season putting my awning up and down over a race weekend and holding it as it trys to fly away over the circuit.

I used ratchet straps and tied to the van on one side and weights on another but in any real wind the thing tries to fly away still

Does anyone know the score with using concrete anchor bolts or similar at circuits on their hard standing? I see a lot of the bigger awnings bolted down but this means drilling a 8ish mm hole in their hard standing which I can't see a lot of the circuit owners being too happy about?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, I'm fed up of scouring the inter web to try and find another solution!
