Thanks Simon. When I say 'bending the seat stays', i'm meaning bending the welded stays on the chassis. I'm not talking about additional bolt-on supports. I was planning on physically moving the seat to the left by an inch or so in order to counteract the weight of the engine on the right. The seat is naturally offset slightly to the left but not enough for me and my weight to balance things up.
