Those rules do not say that you can use the kerb outside the white line.? The pictures they have used show the paint as part of the kerb paint, so as is stated those kerbs can be used. Whereas with Dunkeswell the kerbs are 4inches PAST the white line. Dunkeswell is very relevant in this debate as its track limits are more defined than most tracks.It maybe a design fault in the track painting, but it makes it much easier for the clerks to make a decision.As anyone hitting a kerb has clearly left the track. Perhaps the future is to paint a line inside and out around all tracks ?
