All kart clubs and Clerks received a letter from the MSA in March giving guidelines, in part it says -
"Karting, although cross referencing to Q14 in (U)12.5.8. does go on to state УЕas appropriate,Е..Ф further to this however (U)12.5.3. and 12.5.4. make specific reference to drivers leaving the track and УЕ with a wheel off the trackЕФ. Whilst these regulations would appear valid for both Circuit Racing and Karting, Karting has had differing requirements prior to these changes."
then the letter goes on to give guidelines for penalties for breaches of the rule (one wheel over the track limit)from warning, through 5 place penalty and up to exclusion.
