Yes agree, where is the queue of people waiting to take up these thankless tasks to allow us punters to drive around on a Sunday, then we leave without having to deal with the fall out or have to then arrange the next event and do it over again.
I think they need the trophies and pots a lot of the time.
Long may they find people to take over in the future. Perhaps that is where we should be worrying about the future of karting. Not the karts/engines/politics between the "peoples front of karting" or the "popular karting peoples front", it is if there is anyone who wants to run these clubs in the future. Do clubs have a succession plans? I dont know.
