Fridays should stay as far as a blanket rule is concerned IMHO.

If the individual driver cannot maintain their grades or struggles due to the time off it's the parent's responsibility to either take measures to help their driver academically or make the decision to pull them out of Friday practice.

Too many knee jerk decisions are made 'for the good of all' because individuals are getting used to not having to be responsible for themselves and their families.

No matter how much I want my lad to do well and have the best opportunity on race weekend if his grades start to suffer I'd pull Fridays or out the extra time in during the week and weekends to make up the work that's missed.

The additional costs and knock ons are another matter though....
