Basically when it needs doing. I appreciate that is easy to say but there are things to look out for.
1. Check the fluid in the reservoirs. If it is milky/cloudy then the fluid needs changing.
2. If when you depress the brake, the straight bar that connects the two push rods does not go forward in a straight line then then is air in the systems and it needs bleeding.
3. Change the seals at least once a season if not every 4 race meetings especially if they are wet races. Seals are relatively cheap (the only OTK thing that is!) so changing them and folloing the process above becomes easier.
4. At the end of a meeting, give the caliper an good spray with brake cleaner before leaving it until the next race.
