Asking for advise again!
Got the assembly stripped down for inspection (bolts were very tight)and I see the pistons are of two different diameters: nominal 24mm & 22mm diameter. The smaller pistons face the direction of rotation of the disc, (in this case facing to the back of the kart)the larger facing the front. Looking at the caliper, it can be fitted either way, so reversing the leading or trailing piston. I think the differing diameters maybe to reduce grab on the brake, but that's just a guess.
Anyone know why?
