For quite a few years Whilton have had a rule that you can only practice on the Saturday of a race weekend if you are racing on the Sunday or if there is space on the grid.

Shenny used to be crticised for allowing anyone to practice on the Saturday making practice quite crowded.

Obviously a disappointment for you and your lad but maybe that is what the Whilton members prefer?
