I was at PFI a few weeks ago and was quite shocked at how heavy and immovable the green double bed sized crash protection devices, sited near the bridge, were.

I also thought on the day that where they were sited they would act as launch pads for karts that hit them.Sadly this proved to be the case for a good friend of mine who was knocked off the track at January's Prokart meeting.

His collision with one of these objects left him requiring an operation to plate and pin his badly broken collarbone.

I respectfully suggest that some analysis needs to done and action taken if necessary. This should happen sooner rather than later.
