Completely agree with Point #2: I've not yet been a member of a club that has solicited my views on anything. Publishing minutes of committee meetings would be a start so we could at least keep informed of developments/plans.

As for the AGM, I've seen them scheduled for midweek as opposed to a race weekend Saturday and, even then, any questions had to have been submitted in advance in writing. There seems to be a massive fear of change. Keep calm and carry on...
