This is all well and good, club committee's are their to represent drivers however drivers don't want to be involved with committees running the clubs. Over the last 4 years at SYKC every driver or drivers father who has expressed an opinion has been asked to join the committee, too date none have. The majority of drivers and drivers parents think its somebody else's responsibility to organise racing. We always hold our AGM on a race weekend and advertise the fact and also make announcements during the day, we are lucky if 2 extra people attend. The majority don't want to put the time in to help.
