we use the coleman event shelters. you can get a square one with no sides or the round one with sides. theyre great in the wind and relatively waterproof....only really heavy downpours get through, having said that you can get a fabsil waterproofing spray in a can.....which when we had it up in the summer we sprayed it and is now completely waterproof...

...failing that if you have a pit area with grass we have used a 6 man tent in the past to house/work on the kart and then sleep in at night
