I'm doing myself out of business but here goes...

You do realise that there is NO expiry on kart racing overalls don't you? The expiry date on the collar is purely reference the homologation for international racing. And normally the manufacturers get a five year extension which re-homologated that number.

For UK racing there is no attention paid to the expiry date, any scrutineer who does is wrong ;-)

Check the Blue Book and you will see the list of homologations allowed, anything since the turn of the century is acceptable.
