What kind of formula blue? Analogue or digital

The old analogue powerbox did sometimes 'leak' and created a short that could cause a power drain. Some of the old powerboxes could start the engine suddenly without anyone touching anything. Later versions were much better.

There have been reports that the key switch in the new Blue (and used in the X30) can fill with corrosion products especially if one goes mad with WD40, a small quantity of metal particles in water or oil can be nicely conductive, and some people report that crossover in the switch can affect performance (eg: the performance loss goes away when an apparently working switch is replaced or the key is cleaned!)

It's good practice to disconnect the battery when it isn't in use. It cuts down the chance of an accidental start.
