Whilst in principle a good idea and concept. I agree with all the other points mentioned , with the inclusion of ;
This will not work due to one simple fact the MSA.

The MSA will not and wont allow any faster cadet karts , hence why the then Comer/ now IAME classes are the fastest cadet karts , and why the Hondas now run a restrictor.

Without the restrictor in the Honda the lap times were faster or albeit the same and the MSA then restricted the Hondas to prevent it.

To simply save money
Run a Honda class (Any chassis) without the restrictor.

Also the other points previously mentioned , Age/Height/Weight are all factors that are considered when moving classes not just the cost.

Motorsport at what ever level is about budget and elements you can or cant do due to it or the rules imposed by the governing body
