I suppose it's hard for Alan to please everyone, especially since this is sort of the first interview because the real 'first' one failed to record.

I hope he does make reference in future interviws to the grass roots karting because it certainly needs it.

I watched the whole interview and for me to do that must mean it was a hit as I would normally have got bored after 10 mins, so the format must be good.

It was refreshing to hear an absence of 'err' 'um' 'jah no luk' 'y'know' 'yeah'.

Alan kept it on track using his 'pace notes' too.
