Blimey Knightly, we hadn't even drawn breath yet.

You're into a really dark art with chain drive and sprocket ratios. Fascinating subject.

Longer chain, less heat? Angles of contact? Chain whip? Sprocket/chain wear.

Did you experiment with changing chain length when you changed sprocket size to see if you could reverse compensate results and eliminate false results?

The angle of contact and chain tension are also factors.

Things are slightly different for you Honda guys because of the size of the front sprocket you run compared to us two stroke bandits.

Publish your thoughts and allow us to have some fun please.
