I think you are right to be worried. IMO 10 thou (0.25mm) will hardly accommodate the runout on a normal disc even static and unloaded. What happens under cornering etc loads is anybody's guess.
I would go for shimming to give at least 1.0 mm.
per side. You seem to have a spring return caliper rather than a self adjuster, Lucky you!
