The governing body are meant to run the thing for the general good not to satisfy individuals choices.

Maybe most Rotax owners would prefer not to run with X3O and Rok GP but a 125 TAG class would be good for the sport.

100 Britain and National used to run at least 12 different engine brands together before karting sold out to the commercials and infants.

The OK classes were introduced against the stated policy of no more classes, " To support the CIK" but then the UK version of this multi engine make class was restricted to Vortex only, no IAME ,TM , or anything else allowed in UK.
