If you had to let drivers through that were quicker than you then we wouldn't be racing we would be just setting fast laps.

I do karting for the racing, not for the speed and pleasure of setting a quick lap. The drivers that bash there way through are not racing they are cheating and that is not the fault of the driver defending (unless the driver defending is weaving or braking testing).

What would be the point in starting in a random grid order if you had to give way to the quicker drivers?
