Everyone can and should express an opinion, it is just that, and opinion and the world would be boring if there were no differences, and people can agree to disagree.
God forbid we start to say people should stay quiet! Sometimes it takes other people to point out our own failings- that are not always deliberate!. (There are of course subtle ways of saying stuff, but sometimes blunt is required).

To be blunt, he should go if he has earnt the place, there is no time for this sort of petty nonsense - it makes be cross - Tomorrow is not guarenteed for any of us or our children.
We should be celebrating talent! and all those involved should demonstrate their right to be responsible ambassadors of the sport.
