I don't think the marshalls get much dosh for standing on the track all day in all weathers.They then seem to get far more abuse than praise.
There have been suggestions on this forum to increase the number of incident marshalls by drivers doing a stint between their races. You do often get dads/mechanics out for their driver's races but maybe not enough. We either have to volunteer more or pay up.
