John's right...and to the point!

Basically the Pi works the same as the E-box, using the method of having a speed sensor and a built in accelerometer to work out the track mapping. You can add throttle sensors, etc just like the Extreme E-box. The GPS retail is £375, the Gold Ebox is £240 and the Extreme Ebox is £360, both +£45 for a speed sensor. The Pi systems are around £1000 I think.

To be honest, all the manufacturers have their faults, it's more down to the support you can get, much like chassis, engines, jetting, etc.

Oh and the sampling rate is 10Hz for rotaxmxr
