I;d stick with the cheaper seat for now, even if you intend to race at a later date....when you are at the level where your lap times are very consistant..within 2/10 every lap, then a Tillet can help.

Differant seats can make a huge differance, but only after you reach a certain level, until then you will not any differance.

When we test we often try a couple of differant seats, but the one we use the most is a Tillet T11, flat bottom, we only change it if we are struggly on lap times, or run out of things to test,...this seat may not suit you or your driver.

Our lap times are always within a 1/10, so changes to the seat etc are easily noticable, but in the early days with times u[p and down per lap seat changes made no differance.
