The last posting is correct - The dates refer to the valid manufacture dates for the suit as designed and approved under the homologation. This doesn't represent an expiry date for their use.

Check this MSA advice note to scrutineers...presumably some of them aren't keeping themselves informed. How many people are going out and buying new suits on the strength of this incorrect ruling?
