I find the Tony pads last quite well unless your at Dunks. I have never tried to freashen them as you say.

There are alternatives, I have ran a set of Galfer pads at half the price and they have been good value.

I am about to try some green EBS pads which are cheaper still, but I do have a set of good pads in reserve just in case they dont work for me.
