say that you would have starter problems as well as clutch problems.

There's only ONE way to do the starters and I'll show you if you can get a brush service kit.

I'll pop over once you've got it

The cheapo ones are rubbish too, unless you bring them up to Rotax spec.

They will work when you take them out unfortunately.

It;s all easily sorted and explained though, unless you're unlucky enough to have an armature that has an internal break and I can even fix those with a bit of patience.
