Bead retainers are notorious for seeping air .
Do the retainers have an "o" rings behind them , if so renew them . If they don't then ptfe tape on the thread may help . Alternatively if you don't use tyre pressures as low as single figures then you may not need to have bead retainers so normal rims would do and remove your problem .
As for the leak on the sidewall , generally kart tyres are not repaired but you can get innertubes if you want . You could always try a cycle repair patch over the inside of the hole seeing as its only a pinhole .
