I have had one of these for a couple of years and it has been fine. Before getting this one I had a couple that did not last long.
The main thing is to make sure that the one you buy is fit for the use you intend. The ratings tend to be in KVA so can be misleading. Also they last longer if you only use pump fuel rather than topping up with your left over 2 stroke mix - this is a big killer although some people swear it is fine.
The guy I bought mine from sells on eBay but also has a big warehouse and stocks a wide range of sizes. If you want some advice give him a call - Pete Lester on 01844 218282.
