I do have a spare altimeter that i used to ensure that my oregon weather station was calibrated correctly remember that ypu need to have the temp and rel humidity figures as well as a QFE reading so use one instrument once your happy and trust the calibration of the unit.

with all the instruments in my aircraft whilst i used to race sailplanes the most acurate was a little piece of wool taped to the canopy to sho the airflow over the aircraft was clean.

jet tech is probably the best software i've ever bought. it does exactly what it says on the tin once youve taken the time to set it up and calibrate it to your particular engine / carb
