The time for a drivers association to fight for the sport of karting was in the mid 90's before the whole thing was rotax maxed! Back then, it was still a sport in its own right. It is now officially regarded as the bottom rung of the motorsport ladder and thats where they will keep it! Its now full of petty rules enforced by petty minds for the benefit of traders profits.
