Now got it off the kart, just tried it again,we get the initial display then when we run the magnet under the sensor, the display goes to a series of dashes and each time I pass the magnet under the sensor, a new dash appears (in the second row down on the left) up to a maximum of three dashes.
Is this a configure mode?
I hasten to add all we have done is change the battery and switch it on!
