hi short hubs will allow u to run the rear track //wheels// much closer in //in close is normaly better in the dry but dose depend on kart //again long rear hubs will allow u to run the rear track much wider //wider rear is normaly best in wet but again dose depend on kart hopr this helps greg lg-r
