Exactly. Like with anything, the 'I'm ok so why are you worrying' argument is all fine and well, but its not you, its me, and for the sake of some ear plugs I don't want to take the risk. Plenty of people have walked across the road without looking and not being run over. Would you advise your kids to do that??? I'd hope not.
