Hi Connor,

We had a similar problem with our Alfano, tried changing the battery and resetting but, like yours, this made no difference.

Looking for a reason, I disconnected the sensor leads and found the display came back to normal.

Eventually, I found water had entered the connection to the lap sensor on the floorpan. When this was dried out (it took several attempts) the problem disappeared.

Worth a try before an expensive repair.
