Ł20 for 4 wheels is a good price, if you were to do it once for yourself you couldn't even buy the acid at that price.

On the other hand, if you wanted to do lots of sets of wheels, do special effects, or merely replace a wheel every time you broke one then it is possible to do it yourself, providing you are happy at dealing with a couple of gallons of sulfuric acid, 12V DC electricity, dye and hot water.
