There are some rumours that they may extend the weights next year because of light and heavy weights.

So heavy weights in the Juniors would use the Senior restrictors and lightweights in the Seniors would use the Junior restrictors.

The restrictors already overlap at Gold, Red and Grey and otherwise the engines and carbs are identical, so there's a certain amount of sense, otherwise a superlight senior could have a significant advantage.
