Call GMS

As already stated the team sell one of the last remaining BRITISH karts, the X30.

At the very least David may be able to put you in touch with a guy call John Ox. He ALSO built his own chassis for his own use and it was competative.

It can be done.
Yes there are pitfalls.

Just go for it. Ignore the knockers. Good luck
