In the Gold book only minimum weights are stated so in theory you can run at any weight over those.
I would have thought that once you are about 8-10 kg over the minimum then you could be 2/10ths or 3/10ths slower. Maybe someone on the forum has some accurate data on this?
For everyday club racing you might compensate for this with driving ability as the speed loss is spread over the whole track (and will vary with track layout). It would be a lot to give away if you were racing in FKS or S1.
