I Have seen the military use somthing called 'roller truck' or something like that.

It is basically an interlocking flat square tile that they build to move vehicles around on. Tanks etc.

Tile is about 600mm square.

I am sure if your reasearch 'temporary flooring' you will find a whole host of stuff but knowing what is strong enough for karting will be the difficulty.

It is out there somewhere if you persist hard enough.
