Our JKH went in exactly the same place. Reading the rules there is not much you can do about it. They say you can sleeve the tube but if it is where I think it is there is no way to get a tube inside the rail. The rules also say you can repair the chassis by welding but no other material other than the weld material can be used. We found that because this is a highly stressed area a weld on its own was not strong enough. I brazed two plates to the rail, one above and one below and this worked perfectly but was I was told not legal. In the end we were forced to buy a new chassis which was a shame as the repaired one was no better and no worse than it was before the break.
