am I missing the point surely the oppourtunity for someone to buy and run a new chassis at half the price of the big names is the bonus here.
Is it not a good thing that new people to karting or even casual users can buy a brand new chassis cheap rather than picking up a ropey second hand one and with all the associated problems ie. flattend tubes worn out components, no longer compliant with the rules etc..
okay it may not be at the front in super 1 but a good driver will always be quick on most chassis provided they are reasonably set up.
at the end of the day if someone chooses to spend £3k on a chssis or £1500 it entirely upto them for whatever reason and if they still enjoy it then its a good thing
