yep i go faster with my lead, and have sometimes run over just because the kart generated more grip.

The more rubber that goes down the lighter you want to be. the less rubber the more weight is usefull.

Look at the lap records between jnr max, snr max, 177. Snr and Jnrs are close, but 177 is usually about a second off. However at normal clubbies not when theres loads of grip the difference between 177 and snrs isnt much (especially in the winter or green track) and the difference between jnr and snr is greater.
