You will only need the new CMR helmet next year if you are a bambino or race in countries under CIK regulations.
In the UK, cadets will have to wear these helmets from 01.01.11 and all under 15's from 01.01.13.
That does give time for more helmets to come on the market and get a variation in prices.
At Kartmania a couple of traders said they should be doing deals on the CMRs in the new year but have to sell at the RRP for the first 6 months.
