If you look at the order form for round 1 you have to buy one set of race slicks and one set of wets.
Your wets can be bagged up at the end of the meeting and used at the other rounds.
You are also allowed one extra set of wets as backup - this might be needed if you had a heat or two in damp conditions or on a drying track where the wets show a fair bit of wear. you might then want to use the new back-up set if the fianl was very wet.
After round 1 you just have to buy a set of slicks except for cadets who use the round 1 set for round 2 (bagged up after round 1) and then buy a new set at round 3 and 5.
You can buy extra slicks for practice but these will not be marked so can not be used for the races.
