There is only one truly adult sector to karting and thats gearbox racing. It has a very wide variety of events from short circuit to long circuit both in this country and abroad to enjoy and at a fraction of the cost of most direct drive classes.
The chassis in gearbox are built from better materials and last for several seasons and as someone just said it is not dodgem cars.
Shifters the only way to go. You wont regret it.
